Flea Treatment Preparation Instructions

To ensure the best possible results from your flea treatment, please follow these preparation instructions before service.
Ensure all pets are treated for fleas prior to the scheduled service.
Wash all pet bedding in hot water and dry on high heat.
Vacuum all carpeted areas, hardwood floors, and tile floors thoroughly.Dispose of vacuum contents in an outdoor trash container immediately after vacuuming.
Place CPAP or breathing machines in an untreated area of the home.
Remove any trip hazards so the technician can move safely throughout the home.
The technician will need access to all rooms and the areas around furniture to properly perform the treatment.
If the Yard Is Also Being Treated
Remove pets from the yard before treatment.
Remove children’s toys and pet toys from the lawn.
Mow the lawn and trim bushes if possible prior to service.
After Flea Treatment
Plan to leave the home for at least two hours after treatment.
Vacuum every 24 hours for three to seven days following treatment.
Wait at least 21 days before mopping treated floors.
Wash and dry all bed linens, including sheets, blankets, and pillowcases, on high heat.
